For this vibrant and eccentric Trash Panda single, we embraced the band’s quirky indie rock aesthetic and brought it to life through a bold, saturated visual style bursting with personality. Shot entirely in Jacksonville, Florida, this music video project was executed on a minimal budget and completed in just one day—proof that with the right vision (and a little creative chaos), you can make something unforgettable without a massive crew or a weeks-long production schedule.

From the jump, our creative direction focused on energy, movement, and color. We leaned heavily into crash zooms, punchy transitions, and a warm, retro-inspired color palette to mirror the song’s upbeat, unpredictable tone. The result? A fast-paced, playful visual ride that feels like a cross between a ‘70s B-movie trailer and a modern indie film—somewhere between punk rock and pastel cinema.

Our goal was to match the song’s spontaneous energy with visuals that didn’t take themselves too seriously. Think: Wes Anderson’s color obsession meets vintage zoom comedy. We storyboarded quick-fire shots ahead of time, choreographed camera movements to land perfectly with drum hits, and let the band’s offbeat personalities take the wheel. The video feels spontaneous, but every frame was carefully planned to amplify the music’s rhythm and charm.

Filmed on location in Jacksonville, the city’s eclectic backdrop added a layer of grit and authenticity that can’t be faked on a soundstage. This project reflects what Cactus Cut does best: high-quality, visually striking content for musicians and brands who want to stand out—without breaking the bank.

Whether you’re an artist in Jacksonville looking for a music video production team, or a brand searching for creative direction that blends cinematic style with playful storytelling, Cactus Cut brings the vision—and we bring it fast.
