The Brief
OXOS Medical is rewriting how X-ray imaging works — moving it out of the radiology suite and into the hands of the physician at the point of care. Their devices, the Micro C and the MC2, are FDA-cleared handheld X-ray systems used in orthopedic clinics, sports medicine, military medicine, and on-site care environments around the world.
Selling a category-defining medical device is harder than it sounds. The product photography has to do several jobs at once: communicate clinical credibility to physicians, signal innovation to investors and partners, and look right across a marketing ecosystem that includes web, trade show booths, sales decks, packaging, and FDA submission materials. There's no margin for imagery that looks generic, dated, or off-brand.
OXOS needed product photography that matched the level of engineering and design they've built into the device itself — clean, modern, precise, and unmistakably premium.
The Approach
We worked closely with the OXOS team to develop an imagery system rather than a one-off shoot — a coherent visual language that could carry across every surface their marketing touches.
Lighting was built around the device's industrial design. Hard, controlled key light to pick up the precision-machined edges and surface detail. Softer fill to keep the form readable without flattening it. Backgrounds and surfaces selected to feel clinical without feeling cold — closer to a premium tech product than a sterile medical catalog.
The shot list balanced three image categories: hero shots for top-of-page web and campaign use, technical detail frames for spec pages and engineering credibility, and contextual imagery for use in pitch decks and sales materials. Every image was delivered in multiple aspect ratios and color profiles to fit web, print, and presentation environments without re-editing.
Medical Device & Healthcare Photography
Healthcare and MedTech marketing has its own demands. The imagery has to work for clinical audiences, investors, regulators, and end users — often all at once. It has to communicate precision and trust without leaning into the dated visual clichés of older medical marketing.
We work with medical device companies, healthcare brands, and healthcare-adjacent technology companies across Georgia and the Southeast to produce commercial photography built for that exact context — clean, modern, technically credible, and aligned with how today's healthcare marketing actually looks.
If you're building a brand in this space, we'd love to talk.
