The Brief
DampRid is one of those brands almost everyone has seen on a shelf at Home Depot, Lowe's, or Walmart — a category-leading household moisture absorber sold across virtually every major retailer in the country. The product itself is functional and unfussy. The marketing challenge is making functional imagery that still feels modern, premium, and worth paying attention to.
The Brandon Agency brought us in to produce a library of product photography that could work across DampRid's marketing ecosystem — retailer-facing assets, social and digital campaigns, brand website content, and partner co-marketing materials. The brief called for imagery that elevated the product without losing its accessibility, and that could function across multiple SKUs, scents, and form factors without needing a separate shoot for each one.
In other words: shoot a household product in a way that doesn't look like household-product photography.
The Approach
We approached the shoot in two registers — clean studio work for the hero and ecommerce-style assets, and styled in-context imagery for the lifestyle, social, and brand-marketing applications.
For the studio work: controlled lighting built around the product's packaging — picking up the color, the label hierarchy, and the form of each SKU without flattening any of it. Clean backgrounds, accurate color, and consistent treatment across every product variant so the full library feels cohesive when deployed side-by-side on a retailer page or in a campaign.
For the styled work: small set builds and real-feeling environments — the kind of closet, laundry room, or storage corner the product actually lives in. The goal was imagery that felt grounded and believable, not generic stock-styled "lifestyle" shots that read as marketing the moment you see them.
Every image was delivered in multiple aspect ratios and color profiles, optimized for the full range of channels DampRid's marketing touches — retailer ecommerce listings, social campaigns, paid digital, web, and print.
CPG, Product & Retail Photography
CPG and retail product photography lives in a specific commercial reality. The imagery has to perform across a lot of surfaces at once — Amazon listings, Home Depot pages, social campaigns, paid digital, packaging concepts, retailer co-marketing. It has to be technically clean, visually consistent across SKUs, and built to deploy without rework. And it has to look like the brand it represents, not like generic studio output.
We work with CPG brands, household products companies, and the agencies that serve them to produce product photography built for that context — premium-feeling, retailer-ready, and aligned with how brands actually go to market today.
